Woods Valley has four parks. Each Park uses NSAA “Smart Style” signage. The difficulty and size of the features in each park are designated by Small, Medium or Large on the main sign which is posted at the park entrance.
Beginner Park is located on Easy Acres and is a small park. We have snow features and our Large Dance Floor box set up. Rails are planned for later this weekend. This park will be designed to build skill and confidence.
Upper Park is located on Upper Timmy’s and is a medium park. The set-up is as follows (from the top). 32′ Stepped Down Rail (16’+16′), 32′ Flat Down (16’+16′), 20′ Flat Culvert, 24′ Waterfall (12’+12′ down), 20′ Rainbow Box, 16′ Flat Railroad Track, 18′ 2inch Down Round Rail, 22′ 6inch Down Pipe. In addition to all of the hardware we have constructed a flowing course that winds down the length of the trail off to the side of the features. Scope all features before you ride them.
Snow Park is located on the trail Snow Park and is a large park. Snow Park has 5 jumps of varying sizes – A single jump on the first deck and two jumps each on the second and third deck. Scope all jumps before you ride them. Always clear your landings. No inverts are allowed at Woods Valley.
Lower Park is located on the bottom right side of Copy Cat and is a large park. This park has 3 large jumps. We will be adding rails/boxes soon. The set-up this weekend will be two large decks with three jumps. The Upper Deck has a 25 foot gap and the Lower Deck has a 35 foot and 45 foot gap. We have moved this park to Skiers Left of the bottom of Copy Cat. Look before you leap. Always scope your features, clear your landings and never go inverted.
Snow Tubing is an outdoor winter adventure that gives everyone the chance to slide, glide, and ride. No skill or experience necessary. We supply the specially designed tubes and groom our lanes to perfection. The fun is inevitable when you slide down the steeps, glide over the flats, and ride back to the top. Ride solo or link up tubes for a memorable run with family and friends.
The Tubing Park is located adjacent to the ski slopes, to the right of Timmy’s run, as seen on the trail map http://www.woodsvalleyskiarea.com/trail_map.asp The Tubing Park has its own snowmaking, SunKid Wonder Carpet lift, and lights. 600 foot lanes and friendly staff await your visit.
