“What the Truck?” Tuesdays at Canal Park
Looking for a way to kick off the week? Well, Roser Communications & the Utica Food Truck Association teamed up together to create “What the Truck?” Tuesdays. Every Tuesday beginning June 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. the Canal Park will come alive with the sweet smells of local food trucks including: Holy Smoque’s BBQ Fusion, Manga Macrina Wood Fired Pizza, Come Fry With Me, The Grapevine, Utica Kettle Corn, Squeezer’s Lemonade, Sarita’s Empanadas and Mr. Z’s Street Eatz. Revelers can enjoy the beautiful weather, delicious food and peoples’ company in a cool, hip way. There will be picnic tables but if you are more comfortable with your own chair you are more than welcomed to bring them. The Canal Park is located at 215 Leland Ave. in North Utica (access from Wurz Avenue or Herkimer Road).
“People have been asking for an event like this for a while now and we are proud to be working with Roser Communications to finally make it happen,” says Nick Briggs of the Utica Food Truck Association. Grant Roser, General Manager of Roser Communications, couldn’t be happier, “Where else can you go in the Mohawk Valley and enjoy such a wide variety of delicious food? We’ve got everything from BBQ to pizzas, gyros to empanadas.”
