Union Station comes alive with Spring Indie Garage Sale
Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, be sure to head out to Union Station (321 Main St., Utica) to check out the Spring Indie Garage Sale! Local artisans, artists, and crafters will be displaying their handmade goods from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.
The Indie Garage sale only accepts applications from vendors who make handmade products. You can find local art, fun and funky jewelry, handmade soaps, baked goods, clothing and apparel, mineral makeup, pottery, knit and crochet items, plush monster dolls, greeting cards, origami, and many other amazing products from the best artisans in the state. There will be 70 vendors featured at the Spring IGS!

Retro Sorrento by Maria Vallese – With a retro-vintage color pallet and aesthetic, she specializes in saturated imagery that expresses a nostalgic look at the atmosphere and personality of an environment or portrait. Maria Vallese works mostly in oil and colored pencil, but also specializes in digital painting and design. She also creates handmade crochet jewelry, hats, and fashion accessories, all with a similar retro-vintage theme, but with a contemporary twist.
The Hair Jeweler – Flexible beaded hair clips with attached pin in 6 sizes and a variety of metals, colors and themes. Headbands, fascinators, alligator clips and pony elastics handmade and embellished with feathers, fabric flowers, rhinestones, beads and Swarovski crystals. Brooches, boutonnieres, wrist corsages, sandal ties and other accessories are also made to order.
As the Crow Flies – Handmade signs & rustics. Rustic furniture-tables, benches, shelves, Soy candles, handmade soap & Lotions.
Mix’s Glass Work – They create usable glass pieces from wine and liquor bottles, either by cutting or melting.
Cloudshine Designs – Cloudshine Designs was inspired by the sun breaking through from behind the dark clouds and illuminating the sky with its rays. My bracelets are made with either a double or triple wrap. They also make them with either leather or waxed cotton cord.
HSquared Designs – They strive to make functional things that are pretty to look at. Tote bags, purses, wristlets and wallets. They work to put a little pretty into everyone’s day.
Groovy Granola – Groovy Granola is made in the heart of Baldwinsville, New York using the finest local ingredients including honey, maple syrup, apple sauce and dried fruits. 6 Low Fat, All Natural and super delicious recipes.
