Taste of Lebanon Festival this weekend
For the past seven years St. Louis Gonzaga Church has hosted a festival celebrating the delectable treats from Lebanon at the Taste of Lebanon Festival. This year the festival takes place from 5-9 p.m., Friday, Aug.4; 1-9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 5; and 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6 at the Deerfield Fire Department located at 5476 Trenton Road in Deerfield. Admission and parking is free.
Come out and enjoy true authentic Lebanon cuisine along with scrumptious Middle Eastern desserts. Not only will there be food but Julie Taboulie, a local food celebrity will be hosting a live food demonstration from 5-6 p.m., Saturday. And, they have brought in Coco the Clown for the kiddos from 1-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. They didn’t stop there – they have created a great lineup of music for your listening pleasure: Classified (6:30 p.m. Friday) and Soul Injection (6:30 p.m. Saturday). So, bring your appetite and experience a Taste of Lebanon!
