Syracuse Irish Festival at Clinton Square

Irish revelers will be strolling throughout Clinton Square for two days of music, Irish culture, Irish pride and well everything Irish. The Syracuse Irish Festival takes place Friday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 9 at Clinton Square located at 2 S Clinton St. in Syracuse.  Music is the centerpiece of the festival with some of the best Irish bands around. The music will draw you in and get you on your feet for dancing, clapping and will even make you want to sing along. Some of bands that will be rocking the stage are Blarney Rebel Band, The Moxie Strings, The Elders, Aoife Scott Band and Goitse. You won’t want to miss the showcase of incredible music.

The festival is also a feast of the senses with their array of delicious Irish treats that will include locally owned Kitty Hoynes that will sure to please the taste buds along with vendors that will be highlighting their Irish and Celtic Crafts and more. And, on Saturday they will have an area dedicated to the kiddies – Kinney Family Zone along with an Irish Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

And, remember you don’t have to be Irish to celebrate! So, make your plans now for an Irish musical adventure.
