St. Paul’s Bazaar kicks off summer fun
There is a tradition that comes along with the sunshine, warmer temperatures and carefree days of spring and summer and that is bazaars/field days. Young and old to all come together to have fun and create lasting memories that fill our minds for a lifetime. The air will be filled with laughter, the sweet smells of sugary fried dough and maybe a scream or two from the kids that just conquered their fears on the fast ride or the proud parent that just won that large stuffed animal for their child that might have set them back a few pennies. This Memorial Day Weekend St. Paul’s Church in Whitesboro will transform their parking lot into their own little amusement park with rides, games, their famous “Dough Dog,” chicken BBQ (Sunday), beverages for the adults and plenty of other delicious fair food. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. (food) 6 p.m. (rides) Friday, May 26 and will conclude at 11 p.m.; and Noon to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 27-28. St, Paul’s Church is located at 16 Park Ave. in Whitesboro.
