So ADDICTED to the music you do!
Remember when we told you it was going to be a bad ass night of music? Well, we hoped you listened and came out one of the most epic nights of music that took place recently at Monirae’s. Fellow rockers packed the place to listen to their favorite local bands that did not let the house down. Enemy Down and Blame Anchor owned he stage. If that wasn’t enough the guys from Canada – The Veer Union tore up the stage and electrified the crowd for Smile Empty Soul and Saving Abel prior to their performances. We can’t say enough about the killer music, the killer crowd and the killer night. Thank you to the promoter of the event Mark from GigSMACK for putting on a show that’s going down in the record books.
We were looking to be able to catch up with guys from Saving Abel and The Veer Union for official interviews on their thoughts relating to the recent incident in Pennsylvania pertaining to the promoter that did not honor his end of the business deal between himself and Saving Abel. There was a buzz on social media from the bands Facebook pages about non-payment and SA taking it upon themselves to cancel their slot and not play the show, leaving their fans wondering why? What the band did instead immediately shocked the concert goers … they took their set to the back alleyway to play an acoustic set for their paying fans so they were not penalized. SA also did something that was commendable – they paid the other touring bands out of their own pockets that were accompanying them … Kudos for that guys!
And, in case you missed the night at Monirae’s, we were there to capture the night from start to finish through our lenses. We hope you enjoy!
