‘Scrooge’ spreads Christmas cheer at Stanley
“Scrooge! The Musical” is returning to the Stanley Center for the Arts, 259 Genesee St., Utica, Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets are just $13. The show is a tradition brought to you by The Players of Utica. Scrooge closely follows Charles Dickens’ story, “A Christmas Carol,” in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
“Scrooge” is sure to amaze children and adults of all ages. “Scrooge” is not just a Central New York tradition, it’s a Christmas story heard and watched all over the world. This magical performance brought to you live by more than 200 local performers is immaculate sight to be seen at an historic sight to sure enlighten the Christmas spirit inside.
