Saranac hosts festival for beer lovers
Attention beer lovers: FX Matt Brewing Company is hosting the 4Th Annual Craft New York Brewers Roots Festival from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 9 at their 830 Varick Street location in Utica. If you purchase the VIP package you will be able to enter at 4 p.m. Beer lovers will be able to sample craft brews from more than 40 different New York state breweries. There also will be live music performed by The Old Main during the night. And, not only will there be some tasty brews there but some of the best local eateries around serving their famous treats. Brewers will be on hand to answer all your crafty questions about the specialty brews. Everyone will receive a 5-ounce souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy unlimited 3-ounce samples of the various beers present at the event. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 the day of the event. VIP admission is $50 in advance and if available the day of the event they are $60. Not drinking and being the designated driver?
