Musicians come out to Jam for Tots
For the past six years local resident Marie Soldato and musicians have been coming out to collect gifts for local kids for Christmas at the Utica Jams for Tots. This year the event takes place at 7 p.m. and will be rocking all night Saturday, Dec. 12 at 315 Bar BQ & Brew located at 1402 Lenox Ave. in Utica. The night will be jammed packed with smooth sounds from some of the hottest local bands and acts with a pretty cool magician emceeing the night – Jonathan Charlz. On deck to spin throughout the night is Utica’s finest DJ Marcola. And, we can’t forget the local establishments that have donated some pretty kick ass raffle items including The Broadway Theatre League, Dave’s Diner, Eternal Images, The Utica Zoo, Holland Farms, Lukin’s and so much more. A ticket for this powerhouse of music night is $5 or you can bring in an unwrapped gift of equal or greater value. So, come out and support local music and the kiddies. Isn’t that what the season is all about?
