Mohawk Valley Wine Festival ‘16

mvwMohawk Valley Winery has partnered up with local wineries to create a wine paradise for the novice to the expert wine drinker with the Mohawk Valley Wine Festival Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 & 18 at Mohawk Valley Winery located at 706 Varick St. in Utica. Wine enthusiasts will be able to sample the sweet flavor of Three Brothers Winery to the savory flavor from Tug Hill Vineyards. No “wino” will go home thirsty with the selections of samples they have come up with to tantalize your taste buds. This is a great way to try a wine that you would normally not think to try and hey, if you like it you can purchase a bottle to take home for later. After a few samples one might get a little hungry and Nicole’s of Camden will be catering some of the most delicious treats from their restaurant. Not only will there be food and drink but MVW will also have grape stomping music to go along with the event from Castle Creek, The Bomb and Gridley Paige

Mohawk Valley Winery offers the perfect location right in the Heart of NY Craft Beverage Trail. Tickets are $15 for the day or for the true wine lovers out there the two day pass is only $25. A portion of the ticket price will be donated the United Way. And, make sure you get there early because the first 1,000 through the gate will receive a limited edition wine glass.
