Maple Weekend filled with sweetness

pancakes_10710886Spring is in the air and everyone wants to be outdoors. Well, break free from your house and go around and sample what Central New York has to offer with Maple Weekend. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, March 19 & 20 and April 2 & 3 throughout the area. The New York State Maple Producers Association invites families to learn all about the production of maple syrup and other related products.  Their goal during Maple Weekend is to share the taste of real mouth-watering maple syrup with you.  Maple producers will demonstrate how to make syrup – whether it’s simply boiling the sap over an open fire or running it through highly scientific equipment – the results always taste great. Bring your appetite for various Pancake Breakfasts that are being offered at several locations. For more information and a complete list of participants, visits http://www.nysmaple.com/

Here is a guide to help you maneuver your weekend filled with maple goodness.
