Louder Than Life SHOOK Kentucky
Once again, the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY has sadly come to an end for 2017. This is the fourth year it was held at Champions Park recently with breaking records of more than 60,000 in attendance. The hotels in Louisville and the highly sought-after camping spots were sold out early. The camping had all your basic needs including food trucks and they were located on the festival grounds just a short walk away from the stages. Each day of the festival was jam packed with bands on three different stages, merchandise tents, food venues and different styled bars. Everything from a tiki hut to a Jack Daniels adventure and what just may have been the World’s Loudest Bourbon Tent. The hunt for the secret speak easy by finding the white rabbit drew the attention of everyone with their original drink concoctions and mystery. The band lineup this year packed the festival stages from start to finish. With newer artist such as New Years Day, Through Fire and Joyous Wolf the crowds were shaking the grounds early. Other bands kept the momentum going such as Beartooth, Starset, Greta Van Fleet, Nothing More and In This Moment throughout the day. As the sun set and people were begging for more the headliners Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Ozzy Ozburne, Incubus, Stone Sour, Rise Against and Prophets of Rage brought the festival to its close. The anticipation is already building for next year’s festival. Start planning your trip now because the hotels in the area will sell out fast like it does every year! See you next year fellow Loudmouths!
