Loose Cannon debuts at The Gig
If you love 80’s hard rock as well as the energy and show to go along with it, then look no further than The Gig at Turning Stone Resort & Casino located 5218 Patrick Road, Verona at 10 p.m., Friday, April 6. CNY based hard rock cover band, LOOSE CANNON will be making their debut at the best rock club around. Comprised of four veteran musicians, LOOSE CANNON’s objective is to provide the 80’s experience by giving the people the biggest and best performance every time they step onstage. A wall of amps and a double bass drum set provide the backdrop for big lights, fog, geyser smoke blasts and adrenaline fueled set lists filled with popular hard rock tunes predominantly from the 1980’s and sprinkled with a few from the 70’s and 90’s, but even those songs have that 80’s feel. Their onstage energy is something that transfers to the audience and inevitably has the crowd singing, dancing and pumping their fists in the air as they are assaulted with hard rock anthems from the likes of Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Van Halen, AC/DC and much more.
Formed in 2013, LOOSE CANNON began making their way around the local circuit, but ended up taking a hiatus at the end of 2015. After a two year break, LC reformed with core members, Tim Snyder on drums, Ted Snyder on bass along with new additions Rich Burrows on vocals and Josh Smith on guitar. They have been blowing up stages all over CNY since the summer of 2017. To quote the LOOSE CANNON bio, “people don’t go out to just hear a band, they go out to SEE a band” and LC is a feast for the eyes, as well as the ears. Always trying to step up their game and bring something different to the show, in the late summer of 2017, LC added a pair of hard rocking bagpipers from the Capitol District and they have quickly become crowd favorites. Pipers Tom Callahan and Mary Houghton are featured in a couple songs, sharing the stage with LOOSE CANNON on the AC/DC song “Long Way To The Top” (If You Wanna Rock and Roll) as well as a unique version of “We Will Rock You.” At some point during the show, each member of LC will take their turn on lead vocals and will always try get the crowd involved and make them part of the show. Never resting on their laurels, LOOSE CANNON will always give every performance their all from start to finish and keep changing up and adding to the stage show.
Be sure to catch their show as they fire onto the stage at The Gig at Turning Stone on April 6. You will not be disappointed. Check out their Facebook page for pics, videos and upcoming show dates. You can also find a schedule of dates, pics, videos and bios at artistecard.com/ted.
