Jamming for the animals
For eight years now local residents Rich Massucci and Erica Moss having been putting together nights filled with incredible music from local greats including Nineball, Masons Revolt, Enemy Down, The Bomb, Street Rock Mafia, Kayla and the Tellers and so many more to help raise money for the Stevens Swan Humane Society of Utica. And, this year’s Animal for Animals is no different!
This massive fundraiser is spread out over two weekends – this tells you something – we are blessed with a lot of local talent beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9 at 12 North Sports Bar located at 10125 Mulaney Road in Marcy and will conclude Saturday, Oct. 17. If you only want to attend one night it will only cost you $10 or you can get the deal of century – $20 for all four nights of music. We think that is a great deal and you are helping our furry little friends at the same time. There will also be games, raffles and an expanded selection of merchandise available. And, they added a twist with live recordings of some of the bands (they are listed below) that you don’t want to miss.
They have raised more than $25,000 since it has started and we want to help them reach their goal of crossing their $30,000 mark! Let’s come together and help our friends at Stevens Swan Humane Society of Utica. Remember, winter is coming and that means colder weather and they will need our help more than ever. And, how can you say no to a cute little doggie or kitty?
