Guns N’ Roses gives EXPLOSIVE performance

The Guns N’ Roses “Not In This Lifetime” tour barreled through New Era Field in Orchard Park, on August 16th. This tour celebrates the reunion of original members Axl, Slash, & Duff. All three have not shared the stage since 1996.

Miles of parking lots were packed with tailgaters all playing their favorite Guns N’ Roses songs, before entering the stadium on this picture perfect summer evening. Many of the concertgoers were decked out in tops hats and red bandannas for the event.

90s rock band Live got things warmed up with an energy packed, best of set that included “All Over You,” “I Alone,” “The Dolphin’s Cry” and “I Am The Highway” by Audioslave.

You could feel the excitement in the warm air as Guns N’ Roses took the stage and charged into the classic combination of “It’s So Easy” into “Mr. Brownstone.” The newest version of Guns N’ Roses looked to be enjoying themselves and sounded solid. Guns rolled through their 3 and half hour set like a well oiled rock n’ roll machine. They covered every era from the classic Appetite For Destruction, right up to the 2008 release of Chinese Democracy and everything in between. “Paradise City” closed the show with a full display of fireworks and a flurry of confetti.

They said not in this lifetime, but they lied.
