Festival brings the blues to Clinton Square

The City of Syracuse will be getting their fill of rhythm and blues by some of the region and nation’s best Blues performers this weekend (Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9) in Clinton Square. The NY State Blues Festival is bringing CNY this free event to help “preserve, protect and promote blues music and culture. The festival entertains while educating on the role of the blues in the development of popular music in the US and around the world.”

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is getting the party started early with a live free performance from John Nemeth at 9:30 p.m., Thursday, July 7 at their 246 W Willow St. location in Syracuse.
