‘Drift’ over to Rome Capitol Theatre
American roots band Driftwood will be bringing their raw and robust melodies to the Rome Capitol Theatre at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25. The Theatre is located at 220 W. Dominick St. in Rome. Pocket Change will be warming up the stage with their bluegrass music mixed with folk, Americana and roots sound. There will be a limited amount of $20 advance VIP tickets for sale that will gain you early entrance for select seating, a special meet & greet with the band with a professional photographer providing digital download. Don’t expect to be sitting long once Driftwood starts jamming out on stage with their foot stomping, hand clapping electric beats. This Americana band is fused together with their blend of folk, bluegrass, strings of the banjo with the powerful vocals of Joe Kollar, Dan Forsyth and Claire Byrne. And, we can’t forget the fiddle playing of Byrne – she is known to tear it up on stage for the audiences’ delight.
