Destination Create Festival at MJK Farm

Looking for a creative way to spend the day with your mom this year? Well, the Destination Create Festival will be transforming the MJK Farm into a crafters’ paradise from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7 at their 6844 W. Hughes Road location in Deansboro. Take a stroll through their rustic barn that will be overflowing with creativity that includes: maker stations, vintage wares, live music, presenters, tasty treats and so much more. Not only is it the perfect place to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift but it also a great way to support local businesses. The setting has a hip, new vibe for the new age craft fair. After shopping relax with a cold brew from Woodland Farm Brewery (Saturday only) or a glass of wine from Thousand Island Winery and pair it with a brick oven pizza from Gypsy Girl Wood Fired Pizza. And, don’t forget the live music that will be taking place during the day. There is no fee to get you in the door, but you might need a wallet for all the treasures you might find while shopping.
