Cruisin’ Into Waterville celebrates community, Village

Nelson Brothers Band

CruiseRowThe Cruisin’ Into Waterville takes place from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20 throughout the Village of Waterville. The event began in 2005 that followed a two year road renovation project in the heart of the village which disrupted local businesses. A handful of business owners and concerned citizens felt that with the construction over, it was time to showcase the beauty and charm of a village that was once more a bustling, vibrant community.

The small group became a committee whose goal was to promote community involvement and provide financial support for organizations, businesses, and individuals in need. To achieve this goal, the committee sought to involve members of our community as well as neighboring towns and villages.

To date, Cruisin’ Into Waterville has been a great success. Each fall, Waterville has become “the destination” for alumni, runners, families, friends and car show enthusiasts who enjoy a full day of food and entertainment. It is the hope of the committee that this gathering will strengthen our community, promote life in our attractive village and leave a legacy as our ancestors did before us.

Parking is located at the Waterville Elementary, Waterville Junior/Senior Schools and C&H Plastics. Admission is free but there is a $5 fee for the Chili Cook-Off tickets that will be available the day of the event.
