Create your own adventure at Utica Zoo
Catch the roar of the lions on African Alley (near the African vulture!). Then watch Merlin the Peacock strutting around the beautiful grounds. Don’t be surprised if Merlin joins you for a stroll! And make sure to visit Boomer the Ostrich, who can sprint up to 43 miles an hour, bounding 10 to 16 feet in one stride. Can you keep up?
Unlike any other experience in Utica, Rome, or the Mohawk Valley, you’ll get closer than ever to live wild animals at the Utica Zoo. From Africa and Asia, from Canada and South America; the animals at the Zoo are here and just waiting to meet you! Located in Roscoe-Conkling Park, we’re just off the beautiful Memorial Parkway in South Utica. Open year round, rain or shine or…snow! Come explore and meet our animals today!
Guided Tours & Animal Presentations
