Clinton will be bustling with people mingling with their favorite musicians, artists and fellow neighbor at the annual Clinton Art and Music Festival at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 27 throughout the village of Clinton. Music is the food that fuels the soul and they have come up with the perfect recipe for your musical appetite with more than 20 musical acts that include the famous Voice contestant Ryan Quinn along with Rocky Graziano, Mark Bolos Band, Fritz’s Polka Band, Becca Frame and the Tall Boys just to name a few. They have covered it all and we mean all with the different genres of music that will sure to please all who attends. Not only will there be an endless day of music but there will be a musical petting zoo, art tent, children activities and delicious treats to experience. Come out with the gang and experience a musical journey throughout Clinton.

Children Activities

Clinton Pottery
Throwing contest: people can sign up to throw the largest bowl using 5lbs of clay in 5 minutes and the winner will receive $100 prize money provided Clinton Pottery
Raku demonstrations: Japanese firing technique from 1680
Musical Petting Zoo – Big Apple Music will provide the majority of the instruments
Kids area: painting, etc.
Kirkland Art Center
10 – 11 a.m. – Dance performance / demonstrations
Noon – 1 p.m. – Caricature Artist; Andrew Buffington (Black and white drawings)
1:30 p.m. – Carobh Dugan
2 – 4 p.m. – Pottery Studio Demonstration by Roger Honey

5 p.m. – Shakti Belly Dance
“Art store” within the KAC open to view and/ or purchase from our existing collection of artwork and supplies.
Weather pending we will also have easels set up at our designated space on the green where kids and adults can play with and create their own masterpieces.
