Christmas on Main Street Saturday


Christmas has a way of making everyone jolly with its magic of the season and for 31 years the Union Station has come to life with their Christmas on Main Street. This year the festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18 at their 321 Main St. location in Utica. Stroll through Union Station for a day of local musicians, dancing, Christmas music, games, shopping and more. Stop by and warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and nibble on delicious cookies or popcorn which is FREE to all who attend. And, rumor has it special guests will be spreading their Christmas cheer throughout the day. Keep an eye out for Santa and Mrs. Claus who will be strolling around Main Street singing Christmas carols. The day will end with the lighting ceremony and an extravaganza of fireworks!

1-4 p.m. – Utica Zoo Mobile Petting Zoo
1:45-2:15 p.m. – Butler-Sheehan Irish Dancers
2:30-3 p.m. – Ritmo Caribeno
3-3:30 p.m. – Maribella Colon
3:30-4 p.m. – Edelweiss Schuhplatter German Dancers
4-4:30 p.m. – Mike Peek, Nikki Darling, Bob Plunkett & Mark Santa Maria
4:30-5 p.m. – COMS Costume Characters – Children’s Sing Along Christmas Show
