Cats Under The Stars brings Jerry to life
When we hear the name Jerry Garcia we automatically think of the Grateful Dead, but did you know he also created The Jerry Garcia Band? He has a following like no other and his legacy will never be forgotten. Helping keep his music alive is Cats Under The Stars: Tribute to Jerry Garcia Band and they will be bringing a night filled with the pureness and authentic riffs of Jerry to The Westcott Theater this Friday, Jan. 22. The doors open at 8 p.m. with music kicking off at 9 p.m. The theater is located at 524 Westcott St. in Syracuse. Tickets are only $10 and are available at http://thewestcotttheater.com/.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it – take a short drive to Rochester for their second performance at Flour City Station. The band consists of Zach Nugent, Guitar & Vocals; Brian Harris, Bass; Josh Dobbs, Keys; Joe Chapman, – Drums. And, rumor has it that their lovely backup singers will be there too. The Cats will be getting frisky on the dance floor while grooving out to the tunes of Jerry.
