Bryson Tiller set to spice up Utica
When you hear the name Utica Memorial Auditorium you normally think the Comets but this Friday everyone will be chanting the name Bryson Tiller. For those who are not familiar with this breakthrough artist we are here to fill you in on this hip hop sensation and give you the details on his upcoming show. Tiller hit the scene in 2015 and released his hit single “Don’t” which ultimately propelled his career. He followed up with the release of his album “Trapsoul.” When talking about his musical style, Tiller said, “It’s just trap and hip hop-influenced R&B, the perfect marriage between hip hop and R&B.” All his hard work has paid off with three nominations for R&B Album, New Artist and Top R&B Artist for Billboard Awards that will air at 8 p.m., Sunday, May 22 on ABC.
You will have the chance to experience the unification this Friday, April 29 at the Aud located at 400 Oriskany St. in Utica. The beats kick off at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $37-$47 and be purchased at EmpireStateTickets or at the Utica Aud’s Box Office. Also the fuse on this rocket will be the opener for this show and local hip-hop sensation – Apache Chief accompanied by his DJ Brandon C, who also doubles as an on-air personality with KISS FM. Apache has recently shared the stage with great names in the Hip-Hop world such as: Salt N Pepa, Coolio, Chris Webby, Tone Loc and Rob Base.
