Beer & wine lovers collide at Oncenter
The Oncenter has created the perfect match this Saturday with combining forces with the Syracuse Winter Brewfest and “Wine About Winter” Festival. Beer and wine lovers can come together and enjoy their treats Saturday, Jan. 16 at The Oncenter Convention Center, 800 S. State St., Syracuse. There will be two sessions from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.
The Brewfest will have 70 craft beers from all over the US for your tasting pleasure while there will be more than 60 different wineries for you to sample from. Everyone will also receive a commemorative sampling glass. It might be cold and snowing in Syracuse but what a great way to warm up and dust off the winter blues.
After you sample of few tasty brews or sweet, easy-drinking wine spice it up with a game of Giant Jinga and Yard Scrabble, a Cornhole Tournament, Beer Pong, Grape Stomping – yes – grape stomping, a home brewing presentation and live music by Tommy Connors and Vote for Pete. There will also be a Paint, Drink and Laugh Party at the “Wine About Winter” Festival.
