The Utica Zoo is a nostalgic staple in the community that so many residents remember fondly from childhood.  Being a grown up doesn’t mean you can’t still get your zoo on!  Always looking to keep things current, the zoo holds several annual events, of which the Brewfest is a stand out.  This year, to commemorate their 100th anniversary, the Brewest will feature over 100 different types of beer from around the world.  A selection that vast is sure to please everyone.  But it won’t stop with the libations.

Your ticket also entitles you to appetizers provided by Applebees, UNO Chicago Grill, The Celtic Harp and more, and music by local super band, China Pig and 34 Feet Deep, a rock-funk band from Canandaigua, NY.  A silent auction will also be held.

Certainly don’t forget the animals!  You and your neighbors can mix it up with all of the exhibits the zoo has to offer, reminding us all that our very own Utica Zoo is a treasure and an activity that the whole family can and should come back to enjoy.
