Bands come out to support the Rescue Mission
Looking for a way to give back and have a great time hanging out with friends and listening to some great music? Then you need to check out Holla Daze at The Dev tonight (Dec. 27). Holla Daze is raising money and collecting items for the Rescue Mission. The night will be filled with so much talent including: Joe Sweet, Randy Niles, Nikki and the Dappers, DJ Buck and The Lomeo Brothers. Also, there will be raffles going on throughout the night. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music kicking off at 7:15 p.m. The Dev is located at 41 Devereux St., Utica. Admission is $5 which all proceeds will benefit the Rescue Mission.

How did you come up with the idea of a food and clothing drive for the Rescue Mission?
The idea was Steve Robinsons he is from here and lives in LA and likes to give back when he returns for the holidays.
Where did the name Holla Dazes come from?
The name is to reference the sixties, our flyer is based on the Jimi Hendrix album cover of “are you experienced?” so making a play on words to reference it like dazed and confused.
What can people expect during the night?
The night will consist of music, lots of donations from local businesses that will be raffled off, food, and drinks and fun!
Will all proceeds benefit the Rescue Mission and will there be a drop off box for the drive?
All proceeds go to the Rescue Mission, all the admission fees and all the money from raffle tickets. We will Have a u haul outside to collect all the Clothing and food people donate we have been collecting clothing all month and there is an PayPal account linked to our Web site where people can and have donated money to the cause.

Spaghetti & meatballs
Jelly (please, no glass jars)
Dry egg powder
Dry milk powder
Individual packets of oatmeal
Stove Top stuffing
Macaroni & cheese
Spaghetti sauce (please, no glass jars)
Soup (instant or canned)
Hot cereal (cream of wheat or oatmeal)
Canned beans (kidney or black)
