16 Stone Brewpub: Historic and Hip

On Wednesday, May 3rd, 16 Stone Brewpub becomes the newest stop along the New York Beverage Trail. 16 Stone is located in the old Butterfield House, now known as The Manor, at 9542 Main Street in Holland Patent, NY. With bars, taverns and craft breweries popping up all over New York, 16 Stone Brewpub is adding a different spin on an already booming industry. With its combining historical flavor with the hip and trendy environment that comes along with the craft brewing industry. 16 Stone is set to make a name for themselves with their very own line of craft beers, along with a quality menu that compliments those brews. The old Butterfield House (now The Manor) has been completely renovated and almost completely restored to its original glory, including the hand-carved wood bar from The Butterfield House. The Manor has become the centerpiece of the village of Holland Patent and houses the brewpub along with a banquet facility, Zennergy Studios and the Cape and Cup Café.

Kitchen manager and co-owner, Eric Constable, along with Holland Patent resident and brew master, Randy Vitullo intend to provide a unique and enjoyable drinking and dining experience. Coming from Randy on the brewing side will be several of 16 Stone’s very own brews, including Ostara Black IPA, Drain The Swamp Porter and Psycho-Ass Blonde among others, as well as guest brews on tap from fine craft breweries such as Stone Brewing, Genesee Brew House, Founders and a variety of ciders, as well. Eric and his kitchen will be preparing such popular brewpub staples as wings, burgers, flat bread pizzas as well as a unique offering of gourmet hot dogs, the latter of which will be featured at a complimentary “Build-Your-Own” gourmet hot dog bar, during the grand opening festivities on Wednesday starting at 5 p.m. Make it a point to stop out for some fine craft beer and good food accompanied by a lovely, historical setting in the charming village of Holland Patent. Grand Opening Festivities begin at noon on Wednesday. The Remsen Social Club will be providing the music at 6 p.m.
