SOUPDon’t have plans for Saturday yet? Well, now you do! The air in Downtown Schenectady will be filled with spices of hotness and sweetness with the first ever Schenectady Soup Stroll. Area restaurants will be creating one of kind soups for revealers to try for only a $1. Some of hot creations you can sample are a Cheeseburger Chowder, a creamy combination of an American staple; Sweet Potato “Cappuccino”‘ Maple Bacon Soup, maple and bacon – sounds like a sure winner to us; Buffalo Chicken Soup – the spice alone will warm you up; and a Sweet & Stout Chili, anything that is paired with a stout is sure to be liquid heaven. And, if you find a soup you love and must have more – you can make it a bowl for only $5. The event kicks off at Noon and will continue to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30.
